    More info

BCAA PASTE IS A SOURCE OF BRANCHED CHAIN AMINO ACIDSWHICH ASSIST IN NORMAL ENERGY PRODUCTION AND PROTEIN SYNTHESIS. THIS LEADS TO FASTER RECOVERY TIME IN DOGS AFTER HUNTING OR OTHER STRENUOUS EXERCISE.

ASSISTS WITH MUSCLES’ NEED FOR EXTRA BCAA ALLOWING FASTER RECOVERY BY DECREASING THE SEVERITY OF MUSCLE CRAMPING DUE TO LACTIC ACID BUILD UP IN DOGS AND HORSES.

Branch chain amino acids (bcaa) cannot be synthesized by the body and research studies have shown that they play an important role in muscle recovery after exercise.

Following heavy exercise, branch chain amino acids levels in the bloodstream are reduced to the point where the body needs to breakdown muscle cells and degrade liver protein to supply more branch chain amino acids for the body to use.

When dogs are given branch chain amino acid within 30 minutes after strenuous work, the body will use these added bcaa in the bloodstream first. This reduces the need to use muscle cells and liver proteins.

The supplementation with VETSENSE BCAA Paste will assist with the muscles’ need for extra bcaa allowing faster recovery by decreasing the severity of muscle cramping due to lactic acid build up.

Vetsense BCAA paste is safe for use with dogs; however the dose rate is less than the advice on the syringe (this rate is for 500kg horses). The recommended use for dogs is approximately 1.2mL/ 10kg of body weight, or one 4mL graduation for an average 35kg dog within 30 minutes after exercise.

In known cases of fatigue, dogs can also be given 4mL prior to exercise and again within 30 minutes after exercise.

To administer, place the nozzle into the mouth and deposit paste as far back over the tongue as possible.
